What you need
- macOS or Windows
- You need a Claude or ChatGPT plan — either one is enough. Chat, suggestions and checks work with either; images are made with ChatGPT (with Claude only, you can bring in images from your computer). The AI runs through each provider’s official tool (Claude Code and Codex), within your own plan. Fabloom never reads your sign-in credentials.
- You need to sign in with a Google account. Your work is saved to your account.
Getting the AI ready
Fabloom’s AI uses the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have — setting up either one is enough. Once the app is installed, you can set things up from “AI connections” in its settings — no Terminal needed. Fabloom never reads your sign-in credentials.
- 1
Open “AI connections” in the app’s settings
- 2
Set up Claude (if you use Claude)
On the Claude card, click “Install Claude Code”, then “Sign in to Claude”. A browser window opens; sign in with your Claude account. You need a plan such as Pro or Max; the free plan does not include Claude Code.
- 3
Set up ChatGPT (if you use ChatGPT, or to make images)
On the ChatGPT card, click “Install Codex”, then “Sign in to ChatGPT”, and sign in with your ChatGPT account.

When the card says “Available”, you’re all set
